A week after an Australian teacher was apprehended in Ubon Ratchathani after authorities discovered he had been convicted of the rape and molestation of at least three boys in Indonesia, one as young as eight years old, another foreign teacher was arrested earlier today, Coconuts Bangkok reported.

American national James Newman, 67, was arrested in Chiang Mai after he was charged of possessing child pornography.
The Department of Special Investigation (DSI) together with the US Embassy arrested James Newman at his home in Mae Tang district after they were tipped off that the suspect allegedly molested young boys and shared nude photos of them on Facebook.
Authorities revealed that James, a former English teacher, invited young boys in his neighborhood to play at his house.
Photos of his victims were found saved on his computers. Authorities will call the children for questioning for further prosecution charges.
According to Daily News and Manager, James could be fined of THB100,000 for possession of child pornography and a five year imprisonment.
