PHUKET — A Chinese tourist drowned
on Sunday while snorkelling about 25 kilometers off the coast of Koh Racha.
According to Phuket Tourist Police chief Urumporn Koondejsumrit, the man was identified as He Hua, 38, travelling on a day trip with family and friends.

He said others in the group were
eating on the beach when the 38-year-old tourist decided to go snorkelling
alone. No one noticed he disappeared until his body washed ashore around
1:40 pm.
He's body was taken to Vachira Phuket Hospital where doctors planned to determine the exact cause of death. The Chinese consulate in Phuket was notified.
