Thai bank employee caught on stealing customers’ cash

A female bank employee has been caught on video allegedly stealing the contents of a yellow basket into her pocket.

The video was posted on @YOKanakorn Facebook page where a bank employee can be seen walking behind the bank's reception. There in the room, she grabbed the cash and stuffed it into her suit pocket before going into another room through the white door.

Her fellow employees, as well as the manager, were already suspicious of her backroom shenanigans for a while. However, they were not able to confirm their suspicion. The employee, according to Thaiger, had purchased a new house and a car.

Unbeknownst to her, another employee placed on September 9 a hidden camera in the room that had no CCTV. The employee was caught red-handed grabbing the cash and stuck it into her pocket.

The bank employee's victims were customers coming to deposit their money with the bank. She was actually going into the area behind reception to count the cash as the depositors said they weren’t sure about the amounts.

A press release had been issued by the bank's PR division that they'd fired the former employee

The PR division of the bank issued a media release that they’d fired the former employee the day after the incident was captured on the hidden camera.

Police action on the case is pending and some suspicions have also fallen on the manager of the branch.
